Why would new emails be popping up all over within my inbox? Meaning, emails from, let's say, May 9 are showing up near those dated from April 25, for instance. I'd like to get all the new ones coming again in the right lineup within the new message history. Thanks.

It would depend on how you have your Inbox sorted. In three pane view, in
the middle column, you can select to sort by Sent. It sounds like you
accidentally selected arrange by the wrong criteria.

Just to be sure we are communicating, I think of misdirected as moved to a
different folder. This does not seem to be what you are describing.

Thanks, Diane, for trying to help, but I have NOT selected the wrong criteria........when "sent" is selected, they're still turning up amongst the older mails. This is why I am perplexed.

And by the way, I always check the box "Email me when replies are posted," yet I never get notice of a reply. Strange, no ?

Thanks for whatever insights/assistance you may provide. I appreciate it.
