Number formats in exported data

I am trying to export a table into a text file (.txt) in which the data has
to be formatted correctly in order for it to load into another system.

There are some numbers which need to be zero decimal places. These numbers
were 0 d.p. when imported into Access (from Excel) and are 0 d.p. in the
Access table.

When I export the table all number fields become 2d.p. I tried setting the
relevant fields' properties to 0 Decimal Places but this had no effect.

Note that all numbers are Double field size by default.

Any ideas?

If you export the table, you get the table's formatting.

If you create a query against the table, add the formatting you need, then
export the query, you get the query's formatting.
