I am Install Office 2007 on the Windows Vista Ultimate. I can start Outlook
once after install, but after that it reports cannot find MSVCR80.dll when
launched from the Quick Launch button. Also if I launch it from the Start
menu, it continually brings up the "Configure Office" screen and wants to
reboot afterwords. If I cancel out of everything and reboot, it will start
once off the Start Menu then that's it. Can you help me please? Thank you

The MSVCR80.dll usually is a Norton thing.

As for the configuration running each time you open Office. Have you had another
version of Office installed?
There is a registry fix, use it at your own risk.

Close all versions of Word.
Open Word 2007, let setup run (if it appears), then close Word.
Open the registry editor and navigate to
HKEY_CURRENT_USER\Software\Microsoft\Office\11.0\Word\Options
Add a DWORD named NoRereg set to 1

Note: 11.0 refers to Word 11, which is Word 2003. Word 2007 is Word 12. To make
Word 2003 the default and not 2007, use the same steps but interchange 2003 and
2007, as well as 11.0 and 12.0
