office xp sp3 wont install

when running the office xp sp3 I got an error that it cannot find the .msi
files in c:\config.Msi directory
if found those .msi files on my install cd PROPLUS.MSI and OWC10.MSI
and copied them there,
now the .tmp files it is creating it says it cant find them, and the install
fails, i tried copying the .tmp files it created and copying them back but it
creats new named ones every time I try to install the sp3
