OL2003/OE question

Using OL2003 as my default mail program
and OE as the default newsreader.

XpPro
sp2

Is it possible to forward news messages to myself?
I tried that this evening and it didn;t work.
Is there a way I can get that to happen without making OE my default mail
account.?

thanks, :>)

It should call up outlook's mail form when you hit forward. What exactly
happened when you tried?

I prefer to access my account from oe, using IMAP - then I drop newsposts in
a folder. This only works if you can access your account using IMAP of
course.

Alternately, you can drop them in OE's mail folder and export to OL every
now and again.

nothing happens, the button clicks, thant's all.
I checked to see if i could send mail to myself by making a new mail message
and it said:
The email cold not be sent. You do not have any accounts configured for
sending email.

I check the account settings in both outlook and outlook express, and they
are the same, but some how they seem to be"disconnected"..

yes, outlook is the default and is checked as the default.....
I played around with this today and created another account with the same
settings, then imported that into outlook. at the prompt. I then deleted the
other account and everything seems to be ok. I can at least send email to
myself from OE. I still can;t forward anything, nor can i click on a link
and have it work anymore.NOt sure why that has started to be the case, but
it is.

thanks for your help...
