I'm having a problem with OLE objects in Word 2007. I have a large number of
documents in which I have embedded drawings created with SmartDraw. Often, I
go back and edit those drawings to revise the document. If I go back a
second time to re-edit the drawing, the version that opens in SmartDraw is
the original version -- before either of the re-edit sessions was done, and
all of my previous editing changes are lost. This happens even when I move
the document to another computer before doing the re-editing. It does not
happen with other versions of Word, only with version 2007. It really puts a
damper on my productivity, because this is something I do several times a
day.
