OneNote needs to be able to come through Hotmail as a OneNote fil.

I have recently installed OneNote on my computer and I cannot recieve OneNote
files as attachments via Hotmail. Is this an issue, or is it my computer?

At first glance there should be no reason why one cannot attach and send
OneNote section files through Hotmail or any other email system.

Can you provide more detail? Is there an error message that Hotmail
provides? Does the message not show up at all?

Does the file being attached and sent have the *.ONE extention?

Is the file being sent too large? Some email providers (including Hotmail)
place a limit on the size of attachments that are sent through its system.

Thanks for the response Erik. I have recieved the message, but when I
attempt to download the attached OneNote file, hotmail gives me the bomb icon
and interpretes it as a virus. This is a file coming from a reputable source
who works in IT, I know it does not contain a virus. Any suggestions?

Until the HM team looks at this (Thanks, Olya!) you might have some success
grabbing the attachment from Outlook Express.
