OneNote Table

Hello there,

I have been searching this forum for ages to try and find out a
workaround for a proper use of a table in OneNote. I have been trying for
ages to insert a proper Word table in OneNote (even creating one from the
beginning) but it can't happen.. i cannot merge cells in a row, i cannot
select an individual column etc etc..

I love OneNote and i am using it so much, but why is it so hard to get a
normal word table in there? I find it so difficult to understand why
microsoft realeases a wonderful program (onenote) and cannot reuse already
designed, implemented and tested components (such as a table) from other
software of yours? Why are some features a huge step back ? I've been seen
posts requesting a normal table in onenote from 2004....:-///
