Open drawings in new windows.

I've got some work involving quite a few different Visio drawings and they
all display grouped under the same window. Which makes it hard to swap
between files.
I habitually mouse down to the task bar, when I want to swap to another
drawing, before I realise it's not there but is under the Window menu in
Visio.

Does Visio 2003 not have any way to open each drawing in a separate window
on the task bar? I've searched to no avail.

TIA,
Sam

To get the swapping at the task bar level you have to spawn additional
instances of the application, not documents within the application.

I had the feeling it must be something simple.
With every other application I just open the saved document and it gets its
own window. I never thought to spawn a new instance of visio and then load
the particular document.

Thanks Al!

(apologies for the double post of the question, too; i just noticed.
apparently keys function differently to expected in some of these pop up
posting windows, i.e the one to enter your email address, tabbed to change
fields and it didn't, then backspaced to delete the newly created tab on the
end of my email address and the browser went back a page, i assumed it hadn't
created the post and proceeded again. consistency ftw! maybe it's just me, i
couldn't figure out how to delete the duplicate post either. i suppose
somewhere there's a proper forum for this kind of feedback... )
