Opening Outlook error

Every time I open outlook I get this same error:

An error occurred in the folder shortcuts file (.fav). Outlook will recreate
the default folder shortcut. You don't have appropriate permissions to
perform this operation. What does this mean, and how to fix it?

Try deleting the FAV file while Outlook's closed. File locates are
described here: http://www.slipstick.com/config/backup.asp
