Org Chart - How to add a "Dotted Line"?

I'm drawing an org chart and so far everything is fine, but I need to add
several "dotted lines" to it, and whenever I try to draw a new connector
(intending to format this as a dotted line) from the people I'm connecting,
Visio reroutes the existing line for the person instead. I even tried using
the Line tool and it still does this. Any help would be appreciated.

Thanks,

RBM

Forgot to mention that I'm using Visio 2000 Pro (or 2002 Pro, depending on
the machine) on Win 2K.

I must be missing something. I opened my org chart in Visio 2000 on Win2k,
then right-clicked on one of the lines, then chose Format / Line, then
chose the dotted line (Pattern 3), then clicked Apply. The line was
changed to a dotted line.

Is this not what you're trying to do? Or are you trying to add a second
line and make it dotted?

Yeah, I was trying to add another line and make it dotted. I ended up
getting it to work (in Visio 2000, note, in 2002 it would not do it) by
using the Line tool (not the connector tool, that messes everything up) to
draw the dotted lines and then changing the Line type to dotted.
