Out of memory error message seen with 2003 only

Tito

I get an out of memory error message whenever I try to open a specific file
in 2003 and I have no such problems opening the same file in 2007. Is this
Project's way of saying the file was somehow upgraded to 07?

Have you installed the latest service packs? 2003 to SP3 and 2007 to SP1.

Hi Mike,

Installing SP3 was the first thing I did however that didn't seem to make a
difference. The user later upgraded to 2007 and is no longer experiencing
this problem however I don't feel good about not having a solution to this
problem.

I have a different user with "out of memory" problems in 2007. He was
running only a few programs and we ended up reinstalling Project Pro 2007
along with SP1. He still has this issue on his PC :-(

Hi Tito,

Welcome to this Microsoft Project newsgroup :)

Check the use of virtual memory which should probably be increased.
Although written in the days of Project 98, please see FAQ Item: 18. Memory
