Outline Levels Change Automatically

Using MS Project Server 2007 with SP1 and Infrastructure update. A
number of our users when they have updated their projects that their
outlines levels were changed.

Here is what I was doing when the corruption occurred. When this has
happened not sure, it may have happened earlier but isn't shown in
the file until a full recalculation is made by saving and reopening
the file.

1. I was working on some work contouring of tasks to spread the hours
evenly over 3 weeks (with 14 days duration due to the holiday)
2. I published the plan in order to save the file onto my local drive
due > to a request from the Team Lead.
3. I saved the file down in 2003 and 2007. Exited the remote desktop
once the file was checked back in, per my queue report on PWA.
4. Saved the files onto my own drive, and zipped up the 2003 version
to > send to the Team Lead.
5. Sent project to team lead.
6. Reopened Remote Desktop and Opened the project plan.
7. Received an error message stating that a resource had claimed time
outside of the original dates. Went to that task, near the end of
the plan > and noticed that the outline level had been distorted on
many tasks near

BruceFFIC,
You will most likely get a better response is you post this to our
sister newsgroup, microsoft.public.project.server. This newsgroup is
dedicated to questions/issues with the stand alone versions of Project.
