Outlook 2003 install on new Vista x64 fails

I tried to install Outlook 2003 on new Vista x64 box. Outlook launc
attempt produces message, "unable to open default e-mail folders; inf
store won't open".
I went back and deleted sample Outlook 2007 and its Wizard, plu
Outlook 2003, rebooted, then re-installed O-2003. Same result. als
tried "run outlook.exe /resetnavpane". Same result.
Where do I go next

Recreate your mail profile via the Mail applet in Control Panel and
configure it with the correct account settings.
