I've been running the beta for a few weeks now and as of Monday it started
giving the error about needing to restart. I do this and as soon as it
connects to exchange, it crashes again. I have repaired the install, don't
have any adobe plugins, disabled all the others, reinstalled, done a clean
install, and everything else short of reverting back to my previous version
of office.
The only thing that has changed, if it means anything is that at TechReady I
started using the standby mode on my laptop as I moved around from place to
place. I had no problems until I was on an engagment started my machine,
used outlook disconnected from exchange to open a one note 2007 beta linked
to the meeting I was in. This all worked fine, but after suspending my work
and resuming it at the hotel, once the machine connected to exchange, it
started this crashing.
Occasionally, it will settle down and I can get a hour or two of work out of
the application, but I am at my wits end and hopelessly addicted to the new
versions.
I keep sending the error reports in vain, but I don't think this is an adobe
error any more. I am seeing more and more blogs about this error without the
adobe plugin as the cause.
