Outlook 2007 Icons appear as Windows Icon

I use Outlook 2007 as part of Office Enterprise Edition running on Vista.

When inserting any Outlook Item (email, calendar, contact etc) as an
attachment into any other Outlook item (email, calendar, contact etc) the
icon displays as a Windows Icon rather than the correct email, calendar,
contact etc icon.

There are no functionality problems. I have never experienced this on any of
computer or version.

My software is fully patched without addins.

Any ideas how to get the icons to display correctly?
