Outlook 2007 / Vista Search not finding deleted items

MSN Desktop Search on XP worked great; it would also search in outlook
deleted items.

Upgrading to Vista and Outlook 2007 has been great; with 1 exception. WHen
you search from Vista's search, it will not search in Outlook 2007 deleted
items, like MSN Desktop search does.

There is an option in Outlook 2007 to enable searchign in deleted items, but
this DOES NOT turn on this feature in VIsta Search.

It's much faster to consolodate my searchign in Visat Search (Window Key -
start typing) vs. going to outlook, clicking in a search box, then waiting,
then expanding the search.

How can I fix this in Vista Search? It's seems connected w/Outlook so any
ideas?

After enabling the option did you leave Outlook open and your your computer
idle long enough so that the indexer had time to index the items?

Thanks for the reply. Yes; I did that. Twice. Perhaps thrid time is the
charm? I can run it again tonight.

Is it supposed to get deleted items? Do you have Vista and Outlook, and can
you try?
