Outlook 2007 & XP SP3 move IMAP pst file

H

headache

I have read the direction about how to "Move your Outlook data file to
another location" .
http://office.microsoft.com/en-us/outlook/HA011124801033.aspx
http://support.microsoft.com/kb/300593

and some post on the forum. It seems that it works for some others but
doesn't for me.
It turned out that every time I opened the "show profile" from "control
panel", a new pst file was generated in the default location.
I am not sure if this is because of the bad combination of the XP and
Outlook 2007.
Does anybody have a suggestion if I can make it work?

You cannot move an IMAP .pst file - as you found, it will recreate one in
the default location.
