Outlook conflict

We recently installed new PC's and network servers with the latest hardware
and software with significant memory. The default mail program (groupwise)
seems to block access to Outlook except for the calendar function. My version
is Outlook 2003 w/ Business Contact Manager. I need to run Outlook in its
full capacity including Bus Cont Mgr.

Do I need to install Exchange server on the entire network (server) or can I
install a program just on my PC to open up Outlook?

Thanks for your help!

I don't know enough about Groupwise to state whether or not it conflicts
with Outlook.

In general, you don't need an Exchange server to use Outlook. However, I'm
not familiar with the BCM add-on to say whether or not that adds any
Exchange requirement.

Blocking in what way?

What do you mean by;
"can I install a program just on my PC to open up Outlook?"
