Outlook Connector - June 2007 Beta

When I installed this package into Outlook 2007 on Vista Ultimate, Everything
worked fine. It connected with my free Live Hotmail account with no problem.
Here is the glitch - if I close Outlook and rstart it ( or reboot) I get this
messege in the detailed report

Error in Mail
There is an error synchronizing your mail account. Please verify your
account has been configured correctly by first accessing your mail on the web.
Error: 5102. Server. Xfs request 'Sync' failed. Response code:
'InternalServerError', server response: '999 0'.

I went thru the web and everything was fine.

To date, my only workaround has been to "Remove the e-mail account" - click
on the Outlook Connector button and re-create it. I then get the messege that
the mailbox will be available after I Close Outlook and restart it. When I
restart it, I get the message that Connector is building the mailbox and
everything works fine until the next time I restart Outlook or Boot my
system. Any ideas you guys?

My guess is you don't have a paid email account?

I haven't seen that error - I have vista business. Have you tried detect and
repair (aka office diagnostics) or reinstalling/repairing the connector?

Mail and contacts work with free accts that were upgraded to the Live
server.

It is my understanding it is available to all Live Hotmail subscribers. You
have to have a paid account only if you wish to sync calendars.

I haven't tried the Office repair but I have tried un-reinstall to no effect.
It's odd but Connector creates an OST, not a PST. Next, I will try deleting
the OST. Perhaps the previous version of Connector created an OST not
compatible with the refreashed version.

It uses an ost now - used to use msnpst and who knows what else. Deleting
it might help.

Microsoft was having some issues with Hotmail syncing, but it was supposed
to have been fixed as of earlier today. It only affected some servers, not all.
This is based on information that was posted in the newsgroup
microsoft.public.windows.live.mail.desktop.

I'm also having this issue with the very same error logs.
unistalling and re-instlling connector cures it temporarily theh back to no
email downloads. I am on a paid Live Hotmail account. which will be cancelled
if this is not fixed soon.

Any ideas guys?
