Outlook deleting emails when I forward or reply

Outlook is deleting the original email from my inbox when I forward or reply
to it. (Email does not go to deleted folder either. it just disappears)

I'm using Outlook2000 on Windows XP. I installed SP3 last night as I saw
that this might correct any of these problems.

When I use the default "Administrator" user, Outlook did not have this
problem.

However, when using my "regular" user, it continues to delete the email from
my Inbox everytime I send a reply/forwarded mail.

Thinking of re-installing the program, but wondering if there are any other
fixes available or other suggestions.

No it doesn't. You have your View set to "Unread Messages". Change it to
just "Messages".

Thanks Brian, but that's not the case. I have both read/unread messages in my
Inbox. As soon as I forward the message (not reply, that works!) the message
is removed from the Inbox and is not in the Deleted Items. If the message is
double-clicked and read, it stays in the Inbox.

What is the value for "Save forwarded messages" in Tools>Options>E-mail
Options>Advanced E-mail Options?

I still think its a view or a sort on some field other than the Received
field. Outlook simply doesn't delete messages all on its own.
