outlook freezes

Every time i try to send an email using Outlook 2002 with Office XP the
program freezes.
I have tried Updates
I have tried not using Word as my email editor
I have tried the Repair feature
HELP !!!

Did you try to repair your PST file with scanpst.exe?

How big is your PST file? More than 2 GB?
