Outlook will not reply or send messages

Hello.
This is my second posting of this question. The first one never made it
online. All of a sudden my Outlook 2000 will not send or reply. It still
receives. The error message:
Microsoft Visual C++ Runtime Library
Runtime error
Program:C:\PROGRA~1\MICROS~2\Office\OUTLOOK EXE
This application has requested the Runtime to terminate it in an unusual
way. Please contact the application's support team for more information.
Help? Anybody?!?

Yes it did. I even replied to it.

What account type are you using?
In what mode are you running Outlook 2000? Help-> About
What is logged to the Event Viewer?
Can you create a new message?
Are you using Word or Outlook as the e-mail editor? Does chaning it make a
difference?
Do things work correctly in Outlook Safe Mode?
