Outlook won't hold password

An annoying glitch is happening in Outlook (XP Prof
Office version). It won't maintain the setting that
sends/receives messages at a timed interval. Also, it
won't hold my password, no matter how many times I check
the box and tell it to store it. Anybody have any
problems like this -- and any solutions?

Yes we are having the same problem from Outlook 2003
running on WinXP with SP2 when getting mail from our SBS
Exchange server.

Did you find a solution? One knowledgebase article said
to install SP2 on WinXP and that did not help at all.
