OWC10 - Office XP

Hi,
I am planning to deploy reports on internet from cubes
built using Analysis Server with OWC (Piviot and Chat
Components) embedded.
1. Do the pages have to be hosted in IIS root directory
only?
2. Xcel piviot table saved as web page with interactivity,
can they be hosted/published on oracle webserver on unix
box?
3. I believe user with run time static licence of owc can
have limited interactivity facilities?
Are there any problems in using OWC (apart from licencing
issue)?

Help Appreciated..

Thanks Dan,
I just need some clarification on point 3 regarding access
to the data source:
1. When client opens the web page which has OWC components
included (hosted on oracle web server), assuming clinet
has OWC licence, to connect to the data source he has to
reach the actual machine that has analysis server running?
2. If the m/c running analysis server is behind fire wall
which is not open to public access that connection will
fail?
3. Can I create offline cube and leave a copy of the cube
(*.cub file) on the directory where I am hosting my web
pages on oracle web server and modify the data source to
refer to the offline cube ?
Thanks for your help:

Analysis Servers 2000 has the capability of http access to
the data.

There is a MSOLAP.asp file someplace in the AS program
tree that can be copied to the IIS root directory. At that
point, a connection string like:

Provider=MSOLAP;Data Source=http://MyServer;Initial
Catalog=MyOLAPDB

can be used to connect OWC to the AS server.

The web address needs to be accessible through the
firewall and I believe (not sure...) that the IIS Server
needs to exist on the same machine as the AS server. I
don't know how this will work with Oracle Web...

Off Line cube will probably not work. If I recall
correctly, the Client locks the cube file so that only one
client can use the cube at a time.
