Pasting an image from a webpage

Hi apologies if this has been answered already.

Great application but, how do I get OneNote to insert a hyperlink when I
paste a screen clipping from a web page with 'Copy to Clipboard Only'
selected?

This works ok when I select 'Copy to Clipboard and Unfiled Notes' from
Options > Screen Clipping Defaults.

However, I dont want to create a new unfiled note every time I do a screen
clipping. I want to instead paste the clipping into the note I am currently
working on with the hyperlink for its source automatically appearing
underneath.

Secondly, is there a quick way to create headings for with OneNote?
Something like word and its styles ie H1, H2 , H3 ?

Regarding your first question...select what you want on the website,
then CTRL+C to copy and CTRL+V to paste into OneNote.

As for the headings...I'd probably just create that text in Word with
the headings then copy/paste it to OneNote. No native headings in
OneNote.

I don't believe OneNote can do what you are specifically asking about. The
windows clipboard is used, and it only stores the image, not the hyperlink.
The only way to have that footer come through is to use the unfiled notes
version.

I don't have a good picture of what you are asking about in your second
question. Do you mind restating it?

I also would like more customisation of screen clippings in the next version
of Onenote. Getting hyperlinks to come with pictures as requested above
would be nice. I also have my onenote set to "copy to clipboard only"
however maybe there is a script that could created for when an image is
pasted, it is temporarily placed into unfiled notes and then that whole
container is moved to the current page?

Also what I would like to see if the ability when pasting images and text
from a website, to choose whether to include the reference instead of ALWAYS
having the reference hyperlink at the bottom. Many times I am pasting half a
dozen things from different sections of the same website and I have to keep
deleting the hyperlinks as they keep doubling up and this wastes previous
time and page space.

I would like to have the option of NOT pasting in the hyperlink, maybe with
a special shortcut instead of CTRL+V, make it CTRL+Z or even customisable to
something else. Also on the context menu include "paste without link" for
right clickers and tablet users.
