Pasting Error

Hello! I'm using MSP Pro 2007 along with MOPS 2007. There are certain groups
of tasks that we do repeatedly in our schedules. I want to copy and paste the
group of tasks just below the original group instead of having to
retype/relink/reassign every task all the time.

I'm finding that when I copy the group of tasks (highlighting the entire
record by using the fixed ID column) and then try to paste (right click in
the taskline below in the ID column) that I either receive a "pasting error"
telling me my duration is invalid (which makes no sense) or it will paste
just fine but all my links will be lost! These are groups of about 40+ tasks,
so relinking is a pain and very time consuming. It seems to copy just fine,
but not paste altogether the same.

Is there a way for me to copy and paste a group of tasks and maintain the
outline level and the links within them? I know I've been able to do this
before without a problem in previous and/or Standard versions of MS Project.
I'm quite frustrated that I'm receiving these errors now.

I do have a custom Enterprise table as my default and it includes a few
custom Enterprise fields, but I hardly think this would effect my copy and
paste, right?
The projects themselves, are set to Fixed Duration, and not effort driven. I
have no constraints on any of the tasks within the group. I do however have
generic resources assigned from the Enterprise resource pool.

Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated.
Thank you!
Jennifer

I get the pasting error only after the project has been saved or
saved/published to the server. Hmmm.
