PDf problems

A couple of weeks ago, when trying to save a file to pdf in Publisher 2007,
all the graphics had black around them. Worked fine before that. And it
doesn't matter if the graphic/clip art is jpg or png or tiff - same result. I
have run all the security/virus scans and Windows updates, deleted the entire
Office Suite and reinstalled, but nothing seems to help. So, I have to put
the documents on a memory stick and take to my home computer, convert to pdf,
then put back on the memory stick to bring in to the office. HELP!

What PDF converter are you using? Can you print the document okay? If you don't
want to waste ink, cover everything with a white box except one of the graphics.

This is probably a PDF problem not a Publisher problem. Have you tried the
Microsoft save as PDF add-in?

I am using the converter in Publisher. Re-loaded the add-in and still no
help. The original file prints fine; it's just when I convert to pdf that the
graphics have black around them.

Try a different converter, there are many free ones around. www.primopdf.com
is free.

Yes, I saw this in another post and downloaded it. It was easier when the pdf
converter in Publisher worked, but this will do. Wish MicroSoft would address
these issues ... so many problems in all their programs ... can't wait until
I get my new Mac!

All computers have their problems. Type Troubleshooting Mac in the Google
search you receive 10 + million hits, 16 + million for a PC.

Anyone else having problems converting Publisher 2007 files to PDF. I get a
message "Publisher Cannot Save the File". I have no issues with the other
Microsoft Officer applications except this one. Help Please!!!!!

What PDF converter are you using? Can you print the files on a regular printer?
All 2007 Publisher files? Are you sure the file isn't read only?

Have you tried Microsoft's save as PDF add-in?

I am using the add in from microsoft. It was working for months and sometime
after 12/2 it stopped converting in Publisher. The is file is not read only.
Any suggestions?

You say that it was working for "months" - was this on all documents, or
on one document that you have been working on for months?

Conversely, is it now failing to work on all documents, or only on one?

I suspect thatyou are seeing image masks and cropping frames.
