Physical%Complete on Gantt Bar

I am attempting to show Physical%Complete shading on the Gantt Bar. I
assigned costed resources, set a baseline, task EV Type is Physical%Complete,
I have properly set a status date.

Format/Bar Styles... I changed all the progress indicators from "Complete
Through" to "Physical%Complete" I have the text to the right of the tasks
showing Physical%Complete. However, the progress line on the Gantt Bar does
not shade even though the Physical%Complete shows properly on the Gantt
chart. BCWP and BCWS are calculating properly.

Strange, I posted this response to users a couple of years ago, now it seems
to have changed.

What did I miss? This is on MSP 2003 current service pack and all patches.
Same thing in MSP2007, SP1

Hi Jim,

I just stepped through your process. Works fine here on Project 2003
Pro SP-3. Did you set an Actual Start date? The progress line is
drawn from Actual start through Physical % complete.

A duplicate line was located in the Format Task Bars dialog, I changed that
one too (Actual Start --- Physical%Complete). All is now well and the
world continues to spin in a clockwise direction. Amazing what a good
night's sleep lets us find.
