Picture disappears when converting to newer version...

I have a publisher document I created using Publisher 2000. Now using
Publisher 2003, I opened the document, worked on it, and when I saved it was
asked to convert it to the newer version. OK, fine.

But now when I print it, the picture in the document doesn't print! I get a
frame with a red "X" with just the text and arrows that were in the document!

What's going on???? More importantly, how do I fix it?

Sounds as though the first document had a picture link rather than an embedded
image.

No, it was embedded.

I do have the original on my thumb drive and just tried printing it from
there. The picture still wouldn't print.

I get the frame with the red "X" in the upper left corner, and all of the
lines, arrows, and text.

Problem solved...sort of.

I figured out that the computer I was using didn't have a good enough video
card. I moved the file to a better computer and the file prints just fine.
