Pictures Not Showing in Message Body of HTML Messages

Hello--

We have a client that when he receives a message that has a graphic
inserted/in the message body he cannot see it. At first I thought his message
format was converting to plain text, but he showed us a screen shot and it
says HTML.

This just started happening to him. Please advise.

The client is running Outlook 2003 current SP and the MX is Exchange 2003
running on Server 2003. All latest patched and SPs.

If he forwards you the message do you see the image? Does he see
anything in place of the image? Is it from ANY sender or just one
sender in particular?

He can actually see the image if he simply forwards it to himself. That's his
workaround. He sees the outline of the image and the broken link little icon
in the top left--and it does not matter who send him the message--even
internal staff--it still happens.

Try if this helps:

Open an e-mail go to the office button upper left corner -> editor
settings -> advanced -> remove the mark in show picture placeholders.

Since he's using Outlook 2003, I'll try to see where that option is.
