Pls HELP! Outlook won't DL mail and pegs my CPU at 100%, I tried Re-installing and have had no succe

I built this Computer with MS XP x64 and Office 2007, everything wa
working fine until a few days ago and if you see the attached scree
shot thats all it will do. When I try to download mail it is beyon
slow, there are 25 messages that need to come in(3.07MB total)and I hav
to wait 5 min before 1kb will download. After I give up on Outlook t
download the mail, as a result it has my CPU pegged at 100% and when
close it the CPU usage does not change...why is that?

I tried uploading the screen shot of my Outlook attempting to DL mail
but it failed...not sure how important that is for anyone to see....

Has anyone encountered this problem before?

I also saw this thread and it did not help my cause one bit.
