Hi,
I have a browser-enabled form containing two dropdown boxes. The first
dropdown (DD-1) has been populated with Impairment data from a SQL 2005
table. The second dropdown (DD-2) needs to be populated with Causes data from
another SQL 2005 table based on what was selected in DD-1.
On the database schema there is a junction table between the Impairment
table and the Causes table. This junction table will enable the user to
select a single Impairment in DD-1 and then be able to select the cause from
a cooresponding list of Causes from DD-2.
Because I'm using a browser-based from, I'm unable to utilize the filter
data function. So, I'm trying to develop a SQL query to populate DD-2, but am
not certain how to capture the value selected in DD-1 and incorporate into my
SELECT statement. Any help on this would be greatly appreciated becuase there
are other areas of the application where I'll need to apply that same type of
query.
Thanks!
