Power point 2007 opens file slide and goes hangs in windows xp

I m using windwos xp..
Office 2007 got installed but when try to open PPT file..first slide got
open..butthen goes hangs up..

Any help will be appreciated.

Make sure you have a printer driver installed locally (not on the network)
and set as the default printer driver. Use the driver mentioned here:
