Powerpoint 2003 linked to Excel 2007 Charts

I have many charts originally created in Excel 2003 and linked to PowerPoint
2003. I recently had my Excel upgraded to 2007. Now the charts (gradient
fills, shadows, etc) look terrible in PowerPoint 2003.

How can I maintain the look of the orginal Excel charts?
