Powerpoint 2007 always crashing with excel graphics embedded

Hi,

Powerpoint 2007 is always crashing when I try to modify or edit embedded
graphics from excel 2007. The link to the file is broken, which I don't
really care... I just want to move or rename titles or axis... If I move,
reposition or edit some of the graphics, and click on other graphics, PPT
freezes and has to restart. I have seen it happening often with different
files with the same features.

I tried to reinstall the office, run the troubleshooter...

Do I always have to delete the figures every time and find them again in
excel, repaste them in powerpoint to make it work?

Thanks,

Goodnews man... After a struggle, was able to find out the cause, th
powerpoint 2007 crash problem lies in its navigation pane

The solution until a good hotfix available is to follow the steps

open the presentation which you are working... go to normal view the
close the slide navigation pane (left side), save your presentation the
reopen it... and you will be relaxed of crashes

cheers
