PowerPoint Constantly Flashing on Slides, Help!!

For some reason, my ppt file will always start this frustrating
flashing when I am in the edit mode. The presentation works just fine
when I run it. Yet I can no longer make changes to my slide because
it is constantly flashing.

I am on Office 2003. Is this a bug with powerpoint?

Thanks!

More likely a problem with your graphics card driver.

If you are up to date with drivers then try setting graphics accelleration
back

Right click desktop > Properties> Settings >Advanced>Troubleshoot

Slide the slider left and see if that helps

If PPT is trying to display text that is spilling off of the screen,
sometimes you will get this flashing. Try zooming out to a smaller
display size (like 25% zoom) and then select all (ctrl-A) to get an
idea of what objects are outside of the active slide area. Either
move, delete or crop the stuff that is sliding off of the active slide
area.
