PowerPoint Crashing on PRNIT

So I've run ALL the updates necessary and when I print ANYTHING, to ANYWHERE, PPT crashes. It's not the drivers because it's a new printer. Even when I send to print as a PS, it still crashes. The only time it doesn't crash is when I send it to print from the print icon, where it sends the default options. NOT a good solution.

Just because it's a new printer doesn't mean that it shipped with the latest
driver. The printer could have left the factory weeks ago but a new driver
for it may have just been released this morning. Check the mfr's site to be
sure.

Secondly, make sure that OS X is also fully updated (10.5.6) & run Disk
Utility - Repair Disk Permissions, after which it's a good practice to
restart your Mac.

If you continue to have the problem there is most likely something amiss
with OS X print services. Each program simply calls the need functions from
the OS - the apps don't do the printing. You may need to obtain the OS X
10.5.6 COMBO Update from the Apple Downloads site & reapply that and/or
reinstall the printer.

What printer/print driver are you using?
