Hi, is it possible to run slide show in specific screen location ( e.g.
Left Lower corner of screen ) and size ( e.g. 1/4 screen size ) , with
powerpoint viewer 2003 ( ver 11.0.5703 ) ? Rrds.

The viewer does not support automation so you would get this done possibly
with Windows API from an external program which acts as a loader.

Thanks for your help, Shyam . I am lost...about automation ..
1. XP start --- Run --- PPTviwer targer.ppt <--- works in command line
2. That means autostart is possible ? but in Full screen

I need to run the viwer or do slide show in assigned screen location and
size. Is it possible __ with command prompts or modification in registry ?

Automation was specifically with reference to the ability to control an
application via object model supported by it. Since the viewer does not have
an OM you cannot control it programatically. I am not aware of any registry
edits to change the behavior. With Windows API you should be able to get the
handle of the viewer window and resize it.

Thanks, Shyam. It's kind of mission impossible for end users like me ..
WIndows API, loader .. etc. But I need to do that for my boss :(

I turned to some desktop utilitilites and found one : Actual Window Manager
v3.8 from ActualTools
http://www.actualtools.com/windowmanager/

It's cool , but I still could not place the slide show windows for
Powerpoint viewer in the left 1/4 corner of the screen.
(1) Is it possible to do that with utilities like Actual Window manager ?
(2) Any utilitities could u recommend ?

Regards
