Presenter Tools

Hi there

I Have:

PowerPoint:mac 2004 11.2
iMac G5
OS X 10.4.3

I like using PowerPoint but have two problems - I'll send a separate post
for each one.

Presenter Tools:

What a great idea! I couldn't wait to use this feature during a
presentation.

I usually have to transfer my Powerpoint presentations to a borrowed PC
Laptop to show them - but so that I could use my iMac G5 (which is lug
gable), and the presenter tools, I bought the necessary adapter to plug it
in to a projector.

BUT to my disappointment - I can't use the presenter tools when doing a
presentation with a projector.

I checked the Power Point help.

It tells me to:

"Set up your system to use the presenter tools with two monitors
To use the presenter tools during a slide show, you must have two monitors
connected to one computer, and have them set as nonmirrored. To use the
presenter tools to rehearse your slide show, you don't need to make any
adjustments to your computer.
1. On the Apple menu, click System Preferences.
2. In the System Preferences dialog box, click Displays, and then click the
Arrangement tab."

There's more - but that is as far as I get because I can not find an
"Arrangement" tab.

Help!

I can't help with the Presenter problem, but most (if not all)
projectors simply plug in via the monitor port and VGA / similar cable
so are bascially second monitors, so they should work with Presenter
via one of the display connectors.

The exception is the iBook which from memory can ONLY mirror the
in-built display and not use non-mirror / dual-display.
