print and print priview problem in Project 2007

I cannot print and print preview my files.

Please see the error msg:

You cannot print or preview because the print area of the page is too small.
Try one of the following:

- Decrease the page margins.

- Decrease the scaling percentage. On the File menu, click Page Setup, and
then click the Page tab. Under Scaling, decrease the number in the % Normal
Size box.

And there is an answer in Microsoft help, but it is useless:

I didn't add any image file, i cannot print preview any Project file, even i
followed what the error msg says. I even adjust the magin to .1cm and
decrease the scaling to 10%. However, i still can not print or print preview
my document...any documents...I even tried with only typing one task
information and click print preview...the program just show the same error
msg...

Thanks for the reply, but it still doesn't help.

Even i open a new mpp file with only one task row. I still cannot print
preview and with the same error message:

I unselect the Grant view in 3-D, decrease the page margin and scalling
precentage, delect any header, footer and legend, and it just show the same
error message.

Hi Cindy,

What was the result of your checking the printer driver for the latest
version? What version of Project are you using and to what Service
Pack(SP)? Do you get the same problem and a different PC? Can you try a
different printer?

I have the following print spooler issue: My panasonic DP1810 printe
works fine with my Vista home Toshiba laptop except with Project 07
Every time I try to use it i get the print spooler to quit working. If
reset the print spooler through control panel I can print excel, adob
word etc, just not with proect 07. I have the drivers for the printe
installed although I am not sure if they are XP drivers or Vist ut
havent had any problems until we upgraded/installed Office Suite 07 an
specifically Project 07. My wife needs this for her class in college

Try the following:
in Tools, Options, View, uncheck "Bars and Shapes in Gantt View in 3-D"

I tried un checking that and I still get the same issue where is shut
down my print spoole

I suggest double checking that you have Vista print drivers
installed.
