Printing envelopes using a CSV mail file

Processor: Intel

I need to print 200 envelopes (custom size) using a csv mail file data base. I have been able to set up the envelope so that it prints an address from my address book, but cannot figure out how to get it to use a csv or comma delimited mail file.

Any help...desparate!

Were you using the Tools->Envelopes option?

If so, for mass printings you need to start with Tools->Mail Merge
Manager, then
1. under "Select Document Type," click "Create New" and select
Envelopes... .
2. Do the page setup that you need in the Envelopes dialog that pops
up. I wouldn't put anything in the Delivery Address box at this point
3. Under "Select Recipients List," click Get List and select Open Data
Source... .
4. Locate and select your csv file. You may see a dialog asking for
the field and record delimiters that Word should look for - typically
comma and Enter, but could be e.g. tab and enter.
5. Drag the placeholder fields you need into the box on the envelope
that says "Drag fields into this box or type text"
6. continue with steps 4,5 and 6 in the Mail Merge Manager dialog box.

To be honest I am much more familiar with the equivalent process on
Windows Word, but my guess is that if you have any difficulties it is
likely to be with Word not being able to read the csv properly (e.g. if
yu have multiline address data). If so, and you happen to have Excel as
well, your best bet in that situation may be to import your csv into
Excel and use that worksheet as your data source.
