Printing Error Message

Version: 2008 Operating System: Mac OS X 10.6 (Snow Leopard) Processor: Intel I am using Word 12.2.4 0n a MacBook Pro running Mac OSX 10.6.3.

When I try to print a document to an HP CP3505n printer and I view the document in Preview the last few lines of the first page are cut off (those lines do not appear on the top of the next page nor do they print out - they are just lost) and I get the following error message:.

"One or more margins are set outside the printable area of the page. Choose the Fix button to increase the appropriate margin"

When I hit the Fix button, the bottom margin always resets from 1" to 18.37" (all the other margins stay the same). What is happening

Printing controlled by the OS and vendor's printer drivers. It sounds
like a bug in the printer driver. Suggest you look at the vendor's web
site for an updated printer driver. They may or may not have a debugged
version for you.

Idea: maybe print to a PDF file, then use Preview to view/print the
file. Might mask he problem with the printer driver you have.
