Problem with Publish Web

I recently started having a problem using the FrontPage 2002 "Publish Web"
function to upload pages to a website via FTP. The publishing would time out
with the message "425 Unable to build data connection: Connection timed out."

I was able to upload the files to the same site via FTP using FileZilla.

If you're referring to the entry:

"FrontPage 2003: Open the Remote Web Site Properties dialog box and select
or unselect the Passive FTP box"

I'm using FrontPage 2002, which does not have the passive FTP option, at
least not through a Remote Web Site Properties dialog box.

Is there another way to set passive FTP for FrontPage 2002?

Thanks.

The setting is in Internet Explorer > Tools > Internet Options > Advanced tab.

I tried using Internet Explorer > Tools > Internet Options > Advanced to set
FTP in Passive Mode and got the same error message.

Does my browser FTP mode affect FTP update via FrontPage 2002?

Internet Explorer is not my default browser. My default browser is Firefox.

Should I try setting FTP in Firefox to Passive Mode?

Thanks.
