Pleeease Help!
I have about 6 Excel 2000 files that are cusing me
problems. The main problem seems to be closing them off
from the network. One user closes the file and another
tries to get into it a minute later and it either says the
file has moved or is still opened by the other user. These
files are located on a network share on a Windows 2000
Server SP3. The clients are patched up to the latest level
on both the OS and the application level.I have re-built
some of these files and checked the validity of the links
in others and all seems o.k. on that side but the problem
still happens. AT the moment i hvae clicked the "always
create a backup" option when saving as i`ve gotten sick of
having to restore them. I`ve also ran an Excel Recovery
tool on them but to no avail.
Pleeeeeeeeease help as these are mission critical files
that are crippling my Finance Department.
