I have Project 2007 Beta. When I started it up yesterday (Oct 20th) a message
came up saying it was configuring itself. The reason for starting it up is
that I wanted to make a copy of the global.mpt file to make changes; however,
it's not there as file.
I've removed all global.mpt files from my system (I wanted MSP to create a
new one from scratch), but when I start Project up, it does not create a new
one. There is no global.mpt file on my drive, but when I open up the
organizer, it seems to be accessing the global.mpt file.
Is the global.mpt file embedded in Project 2007 or is this something weird
because it's Beta?
Any help in understanding what is going on would be appreciated.
