Project 2007 - visual reports-save template

Hadi

Hello Experts,

I'm just starting to use the new visual reports in Project 2007. Here is
what I have:

- I just created a new report using the "Cash Flow Report" under the Task
Usage Tab. The report wasn't formatted like I want it so I spent sometimes
cleaning it up and make look exactly like I want it. Now, if the data changes
in my schedule, how do I refresh the report or create a new report without
loosing the formatting. Is there a way to do that?

You have two choices:

1. In the Visual Reports dialog, select the Visual Report you want to edit
and then click the Edit Template button. Edit the template as you wish in
Excel and then click the Save button.

2. In the Visual Reports dialog, click the New Template button and then
create a new Visual Report template from scratch.

There is no way to take your existing modifications to the Visual Report and
apply them back to the underlying template. Hope this helps.

It sure does. Thank you Dale

I ended up going to edit template and although it does not save all of the
changes I made, I was able to record a small macro for future use

Thanks again
