Project Check out

Hi
We are using Project Server 2007. In one case the Project Owner can not
modify the project because the system tells him that the project is checked
out to him. He can only open in Read Only Mode. But when the Admin checks the
project in Server Setting , he finds that the project is NOT checked out to
the Project Owner. As a result the Project owner can not make any
modification to the project. We have cleared the local cache but it did not
help.
Can some one help me Please..
Regards
Satish Kumar

1. Make sure you are on SP2 with the latest CUs.
2. Open in read only, and then close it. This sometimes "frees" the
checked-out view.
3. Delete the local cache manually (cd %appdata%/microsoft/ms project and
del *.*)
4. Make sure project is checked in on the server.

The above will work.
