Project Web Access 2003 - Adding Columns to Task tab

I am currently using Project 2003 with web access. I am the projec
manager, so I create the schedules in project and then publish them an
have team members update via web access. My question is, how can I mak
columns that I have on my master project visible in the task informatio
that the team members see that aren't just the standard ones there suc
as different text columns? I want them to be able to input informatio
into them. Is this possible? If so, how do I do this?

Thanks,
Tiffan

Thank you for the response. Sorry for putting my question in th
incorrect place. One more related question though, the fields that i a
trying to add are custom fields, but they don't show up as the custo
name in the columns on web access when I add them to the timesheet view
But if I add what they were generically before I renamed them, both th
column labeled text1 and the custom named one show up... how do I ge
just the custom one to show up? Thanks

Did you republish the assignments, as specified in step #6 in the FAQ? Let
us know.

Yes, I did follow step #6 and republish. There are two columns I want t
add to the timesheet view. They are custom fields that were Text1 an
Number1 and I renamed them. When I go to modify the Timesheet view,
don't have the options under available fields for what I renamed the
to. So if I choose Text1 and Number1, I get 4 columns in the timesheet
Text1, the renamed Text1, Number1, and renamed Number1. The Text1 an
Number1 fields are blank, but the renamed ones have the information i
them from the master project. But, if I do not have Text1 and Number1 a
displayed fields, I get none of the 4. How can I change it so that jus
the renamed columns appear? Thanks, Tiffan

Well, I no longer have Project Server 2003 available to troubeshoot your
problem. Perhaps a Project Server 2003 user could assist you. Sorry.
