PS2007: PWA Slow for one user

Hi!

We have one user that is having a slowness issue when loading pages in PWA.
To load My Tasks, for example, takes about 30 seconds. He seems to be the
only one with the issue, but we can't figure out what is different with his
machine.

All thoughts are appreciated!

We are experiencing similar issues on Windows 7 64 bit machines. Also
when choosing a project document area on PWA it launches an explorer
window. We are running Project server 2003.

My windows 7 32 bit machine has no issues with PWA.

Hello Stacy,

That's an interesting question. So have you tried having the user log ont
different workstations, and does the slowness seems to follow for that
particular user?

Is the user authenticate with NT or Forms?

Do you have any Suspicions?

Have you tried clearing the browser cache?

We just resolved our users issue by creating a new profile on his
system. All is working fine now.

Hi Michael,

Thanks for your response. I logged in as him on my computer, and it worked
fine. We use NT Authentication. And unfortuantely, I don't have any
suspicions.

Any ideas?

Not sure what fixed it, but he let me know today that it is faster. Very
strange.
